Mermaid Body Painting
An oil spill off the California coast inspired an environmentally conscious film maker to create a short film. Rather than the typical sexy mermaid on the beach, Artistic L.A. created a toxic mermaid bathed in trash and weeping crude oil.

The Try Guys

The Try Guys put the "no shoes, no shirt, no service" policy to the ultimate test at the Cheesecake Factory when they asked to be seated wearing only body paint. A convincing sweater and jeans body-paint illusion gets them a table, but they still have to deal with security!

Body Painting LA has been back to the NFL Network for a couple body-painting rounds with Brian Unger, host of Game Day Satisfaction. Brian hosted the show in full Bengal Tiger body paint to support his home team. He was back-in-bodypaint later in the season as a cursed Red Cardinal.

To raise awareness for the reticulated giraffe, and money for a non-profit functioning in Kenya, the PCONES Foundation commissioned a print-for-purchase photo shoot. Body Painting LA provided the costuming for three models, transforming them into giraffes for the shoot.
